Dr. Marissa Bush graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Health & Exercise Science from The College of New Jersey, and went on to receive her Doctorate in 2010 from UMDNJ. She has worked in orthopedics as well as pediatrics for 7 years, working with a variety of diagnoses, including post-operative patients. In 2016, she received her Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy from the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Therapy and has completed other continuing education courses focused on the lumbar spine and extremity mobilization. Dr. Marissa lives in Wayne, NJ with her husband Lionel, 6 month old son Bryce, and chocolate lab puppy Hercules. She became interested in physical therapy after participating in high school sports and watching teammates rehabilitate from injuries. She’s also a diehard Yankees and Giants fan!
