Benita attended Penn State University to attain a bachelor’s degree in Bio-behavioral Health in 2010. Years later, she decided to pivot towards embarking on a career in physical therapy. She received her AAS degree to become a physical therapist assistant in 2017 from Kingsborough College. Over the past several years, she has gained experience in skilled nursing facilities and outpatient physical therapy clinics in both New York and New Jersey. She is motivated to help people attain their maximum functional goals in physical therapy and remains dedicated to serving in healthcare to improve patient care. In her spare time, she loves to enjoy time with family and friends. She is interested in watching movies, self-care activities, being in nature, enjoying a variety of cuisine and hosting game nights.
