Dr. Alissa was raised in Rockland County, NY, where her passion for health, fitness, and helping others led her to pursue a career in the wellness field. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Psychology with a Chemistry minor from Pace University, where she was also a collegiate lacrosse player. Following her athletic career, she continued her involvement in the sport by coaching girls varsity high school lacrosse, further strengthening her commitment to mentorship and performance. Dr. Alissa went on to earn her Doctorate of Chiropractic, where she developed a strong foundation in evidence-based, patient-centered care. She takes a holistic approach to treatment, focusing on identifying and addressing the root cause of discomfort while helping patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and optimize overall function in their everyday lives. She is passionate about empowering individuals to take an active role in their health through personalized care plans, movement, and sustainable lifestyle habits. Dr. Alissa strives to create a supportive environment where patients feel heard, understood, and motivated to reach their goals. Outside of the office, Dr. Alissa enjoys staying active, especially playing pickleball, reading, personal training and going on walks in the nice weather. She is excited to begin this next chapter and looks forward to helping her patients feel and perform at their best in everyday life.
